Steering Committee
The Steering Committee is comprised of industry leaders spearheading and sponsoring the initiative. They include:
- United Airlines – Leading U.S. commercial aviation with a history of advanced biofuel achievements including the 1st U.S. commercial passenger biofuel flight, 1st synthetic and biofuel test flights in North America, and 5 signed letters of intent for biofuel purchases totaling 50 million gallons of biofuel
- Boeing – Creating a global infrastructure and encouraging the adoption of sustainability standards for aviation biofuels
- Chicago Department of Aviation – Spearheading industry-leading efforts to advance airport sustainability and engage the international airport and aviation community in dialogue about its role in environmental, social and economic prosperity
- Clean Energy Trust – Accelerating the development of the Midwest clean energy economy to drive economic opportunity, spark innovation and advance American energy independence
- Honeywell’s UOP – Leading in sustainable aviation fuels refining technologies with over 30 successful test and commercial flights
